Neologism - Sononym

A word that sounds like a similar word used in the same way, kind of like an appropos malaprop, or homonym combined with a synonym.

For example, the Thompson family said of Hunter S. Thompson: "He Stomped Terra," which means 'He Stomped the Earth.' On the East Coast the sononym of Terra would be Terror. He Stomped Terror. Taking it further, perhaps, He Stomped Terrorism, or the War on Terror or the Terror that follows Tyranny. It is quite poetic, especially because He Stomped Terra is also his initials HST, but I think that that is an acronym.
